Also known as Cavolo nero this variety is the king of kale, with tender, dark green leaves that have a good, strong flavour. Use it in classic recipes like minestrone or simply stir-fry it with chilli and garlic.

Position/Care:

Fertile, moist soil. Be vigilant for aphid’s white fly and white butterfly’s during warmer weather. Use companion planting or grow under insect exclusion netting
