An attractive non flowering perennial with fine foliage which makes a soft apple scented lawn – Chamomile comes from the Greek meaning ground apple. This cultivar comes from Higher Treneague Farm in UK.
Partners with fragrant herbs for use in fresh pot-pourri. Health/Cooking/Medicinal: Leaves can be used in tea although the benefits are not as good as with the flowers of normal Chamomile.
Plant in a part to full sun position with well drained but moist soil. Makes a delightful lawn that gives of a strong apple scent when walked on. Plant at about 20 plants per square metre for best results.
