Cinnamon Myrtle is a rare and very hard to find plant here in WA, native to the sub tropic rainforest regions of the East coast this small tree produces oils that have a cinnamon-like aroma, and display both anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. Leaves can be used in cooking and steeped in hot water to make an aromatic tea. Grow in a sun or shade but shelter from frost and hot drying winds when young. Will grow happily in a pot.
