Josephine is a versatile pear which can be used for cooking, preserving, juice, salads, drying and also eaten fresh.

Texture: Juicy, smooth.

Growing conditions: Prefers deep heavy soils (loam) which is well drained. Plant in a sunny protected site as blooms are prone to frost damage.
