Beta vulgaris

Golden yellow beets with light green, yellow veined tops. Both the roots and the tops are sweet and tender with a milder flavour than red beetroot and they do not bleed when cut. The young leaves are excellent as a micro green and in salad mix.

When: Spring, summer, autumn and winter in frost free climates
