Also know as the fig leaf gourd or the 7 year melon, as they can be stored for up to 7 years, making it a great survival food. Grows on a climbing vine that can reach to 15 meters in length. Not much flavour but packed with nutrients.

Thrives and fruits through cooler months so sow end of Summer/ Autumn.

Soak seed for a few hours or over night before sowing to speed up germination.
