The Cosmos Picotee is a stunning annual flower known for its large, single blooms that are predominantly snow-white with rich rose-pink edges. These flowers can grow up to 3 inches (9 cm) across and are borne atop tall, slender stems, creating a graceful and airy appearance.

The fine, feathery foliage adds to its delicate charm. Blooming from early summer to fall, Cosmos Picotee is a favourite among gardeners for its ability to attract butterflies and other pollinators.

Growing Guide for Cosmos Picotee
1. Planting Location: Choose a spot that receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily.
Cosmos Picotee thrives in well-drained, average to poor soil.
2. Planting Seeds: Sow seeds directly in the garden after the last frost, about 1/4 inch deep and 12-18 inches apart.
Seeds typically germinate in 7-14 days.
3. Watering: Water deeply but infrequently. Cosmos is drought-tolerant and prefer to dry out between waterings.
4. Maintenance: Remove spent blooms to encourage continuous flowering.
Cosmos can self-seed if some flowers are left to go to seed, but they are not invasive.
5. Pests and Diseases: Generally, pest-free but keep an eye out for aphids and slugs.
