Lactuca Sativa

Loose leaf variety. Red leaves that resemble oak tree leaves. Excellent flavour. Good variety for baby leaves. Grow in moist fertile soil, does well in hot weather compared with some lettuce varieties.

Approx. 270 seeds per packet

































Method: Sow direct or raise seedlings
Sowing Depth: 2mm
When: Year round, Spring and autumn for best results
Plant Spacing: 30 cm.
Position: Part or full sun, moist well drained soil
Weeks till harvest 6 - 7 weeks
Notes Grow lettuce in fertile moist soil, dry poor conditions cause plant to bolt to seed early and leaves will be bitter.
