An heirloom variety with large upright leaves, the leaves are tender and succulent, with mild flavour. Can be sown thickly to provide baby leaf salad or more spaced out to mature fully into large plants.

Approx. 200 seeds per packet.

Method: Sow direct or raise seedlings
Sowing Depth: 2mm
When: Year-round, Spring and autumn for best results
Plant Spacing: 30 cm.
Position: Part or full sun, moist well drained soil
Weeks till harvest 6 - 7 weeks
Notes Grow lettuce in fertile moist soil, dry poor conditions cause plant to bolt to seed early and leaves will be bitter
