Barbarea verna
Low growing hardy vegetable with a delicate peppery taste similar to water cress, can be eaten raw in salads or cooked, very nutritious and high in iron and other vitamins. A very useful companion plant as it can be used as a trap crop, keeping cabbage butterfly away from other brassica's such as broccoli, the yellow flowers also attract beneficial insects.
